Bruno’s Batteries is all about power… power for your car, boat, clock and the whole range of electronic devices—phones, cameras, laptops, UPS. We have batteries, wall to wall.
We fit dual battery setups, uhf radio, cellular repeaters and other accessories for all your offroad and leisure needs.

OUR HISTORY
Bruno’s Batteries was founded in 1958 by Italian immigrant Bruno De Lai.
While working a daytime job at Lawson’s Sawmill in Mareeba, Bruno would spend nights and weekends in his backyard shed making hard-rubber cased batteries by hand.
Demand for Bruno’s batteries continued to gain traction. By 1967, Bruno registered the business and stepped away from his job at Lawson’s Sawmill to dedicate his time solely to Bruno’s Batteries. The rest, as they say, is history.
Bruno’s Batteries remains a family-owned operation to this day—now in our 3rd generation.
At our Byrnes Street Mareeba location, you’ll find Bruno’s Batteries alongside our solar power products and services business, Outback Solar and Wind.
ABOUT OUR SERVICES
At Bruno’s Batteries, we offer batteries, battery testing, and installations and repairs for electronic and solar products. We also stock a wide range of quality solar and electronic items and run a battery recycling centre in Mareeba for all types, including lead-acid.
